G&L Automation, founded in 1995, is a manufacturer of automated woodworking machinery. Early on, G&L Automation was approached by a Georgia shutter manufacturer and asked to design and build a machine to automate a single drilling process. G&L Automation proposed that five manual tasks be combined into a single machine. The machine was named the LPS 36T. Upon discovering the need for an automated way of manufacturing shutters, G&L Automation became involved in the shutter industry and has been growing ever since.

In a few short years, G&L Automation has become the leader in automated shutter manufacturing equipment. We currently have machines in 10 countries and have sold well over 500 machines worldwide. Our customer base includes clients, from small three-man shops producing 30 panels a week to large major corporations producing in excess of 1500 panels a day. We like to say, “That the sun never sets on G&L machinery.”

As more and more machines are placed in the field, G&L Automation realizes that customer support is the key to building long-term relationships with our clients, with customer service being our number one goal. We like to think that we partner with our clients as a profit center to assist them in maintaining a competitive edge. Finding solutions through knowledge is our trademark.
